About Ryefield Hops
Explore the Far South Coast for an exclusive experience that you won't find anywhere else in Australia!
Ryefield Hops is a commercial hop farm supplying hops to craft brewers all across Australia. At the heart of the farm's operations is sustainability, employing regenerative agriculture principles to foster healthy soils, biodiversity and improved water retention. The newly designed processing facility incorporates sustainable features to minimise power consumption and material usage. Embracing a "garden to glass" philosophy, Ryefield Hops emphasises regionality, terroir, and transparency, enabling consumers to savour the story behind the beer and trace the origins of the ingredients.
We open the farm to the public for tours, workshops and special events such as Dine in the Bines (est 2024). Hop growing season is October until February.
Beside hops, we have a delightful field of sunflowers planted just for you to enjoy. When they bloom we encourage you to soak in their happiness. You can leisurely stroll through the field with a beer made with hops adjacent to the field and cut your own sunflowers to take home. We have open days over the 3 weeks they are blooming which is normally in March.
We are located in Bemboka, NSW and can accommodate small groups or large coaches for an enjoyable day focused on celebrating and learning about agriculture and its link to beer.
