Bowral Beekeeping - unique offsite breakout session

About Bowral Beekeeping - unique offsite breakout session

Beekeeping experience. Bring your team along for a unique hands-on experience with a local beekeeper in Bowral. During this fascinating 2x hour apiary visit you'll learn about bees, taste some honey with afternoon tea, then suit up and get amongst the hives. As part of your formal program or a great way to wrap up your event before heading home, this is a fun and a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Bowral Beekeeping has a large teaching apiary in the heart of Bowral, minutes from most of the large accommodation and meeting venues in the Southern Highlands. We can cater to groups from 8x to 80x and can include a jar of our local honey for every guest.

The 2-hour session includes:

  • Arrival morning tea
  • Gourmet Honey Tasting led by experienced BeeKeeper Hamish Ta-mé
  • Quick Educational session about bees and lifecycle of a colony
  • Suit-up in a professional sting-proof beekeeper suit and visit the hives
