About The Twyford
The Twyford is located in the heart of Merimbula on the beautiful Far South Coast of NSW, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne on the coastal route.
Centre of community events since 1931, the heritage-listed Twyford Hall reopened in 2021 after modifications to allow the construction of a new 199 seat Theatre Twyford adjacent to the Hall (Theatre to open 2024).
The Hall stage has built-in modern audio and LED stage lighting systems. Hire of additional equipment and in-house technical operator available on request. A small supper room adjacent to the Hall can be used for meetings, breakouts or refreshments. Our full commercial kitchen has a commercial dishwasher, combioven, gas stove/oven, microwave, freezer, fridges and can be hired for caterers to prepare light refreshments or full meals. Glasses/crockery/cutlery for 100 also available for hire.
The Twyford provide a 24/7 ticketing service, free promotion of your event, additional paid marketing packages, ushers & RSA qualified staff.
Shops, cafes, clubs and parking are available within a 200 metre radius. Accommodation is widely available - bookings recommended during holidays/festivals/long weekends.
Activities such as swimming, fishing, boating, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, tennis, bowls, golfing, cinema and whale watching (in-season) all close by.
