About Merribee
Merribee is a seven-acre property on NSW's South Coast that features an historic 1850s farmhouse, accommodation and curated gardens and functions facilities for over 200 guests -- all brought back to life by owners Lucy and Richard Marshall since they purchased the property in 2000.
The botanical rooms of this 19th-century estate range from the Rose Garden, where 1,000 David Austin, Old English and Old French roses beguile with their fragrant aroma, and the formal potager garden, to the topiary, herb and medicinal gardens and the Lavender Paddock where 1,000 lavenders transport visitors to the fields of France's Provence. The property also boasts a tennis court, an oval and a croquet lawn.
