About Bombah Point Eco Cottages
Bombah Point Eco Cottages is a 4.5-star corporate retreat set in the bush for the eco-conscious. Situated beside Myall Lakes National Park, between Hawks Nest/Tea Gardens & Seal Rocks, we are only 1-hour north of Newcastle and 2.5 hours north of Sydney.
Bombah is an eco-lodge with exceptional sustainable credentials and ground breaking green technology that's so good, you won't even notice it. Our large permaculture garden provides, with the help of our chickens and recycled kitchen waste, fresh seasonal vegetables and herbs for our use and for our guests. We use renewable and recyclable products where possible, provide recycling bins and compost most food waste on site.
Our Reception Centre features a large meeting space for groups up to 25, and the Cabana room for additional meeting space or breakout space. We also have many outdoor areas for breakouts, workshops or group reflection time. The Centre also has a full kitchen, bbq, lounge/dining facilities with internal or external catering options available, pool table, swimming pool and a fire pit that can be set up for evening bonfires and star gazing.
Relax in one of our six Eco cottages nestled amongst the trees, all architecturally designed for minimal environmental impact and maximum enjoyment. Our cottages can cater for groups of 20, with shared facilities, or up to 30 when sharing beds, and feature a large & private master bedroom (Queen bed) and a treehouse loft bedroom (double and single bed), luxurious bathroom, huge rainwater spa bath, generous open-plan living area with lounge/dining and wood fire, plus a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the expansive windows onto the wrap-around verandahs, where you can enjoy an evening BBQ or just laze in the hammock at sunset.
We also have an Easy Access Cottage available for guests with mobility constraints.
The venue can be fully self catering or we can arrange catering, including in cottage breakfast packs, conference lunches, team building pizza making meals, spit roasts and outdoor bbq’s.
Guests are invited to collect daily fresh eggs from our chickens and pick herbs & seasonal fruit/vegetables from the Bombah organic gardens, to eat while you stroll or to complement your cottage home cooked meal.
Encounter extraordinary Australian wildlife as you enjoy the bush, lakes and beaches on your doorstep. We are 2km from Myall Lakes, great for team water activities, and we have kayaks and bikes available to hire for your group. There are also a number of walking tracks that link to the Myall Lakes National Park.
