About Sir Henry Parkes School of Arts
The function space in the Sir Henry Parkes School of Arts is located in a historic National Trust building, and features a museum, cinema and theatre and cafe. The Banquet Hall is where Sir Henry Parkes did his Federation Speech in October 1889, calling all states to join together as one nation.
There are three function spaces available - the theatre, which features a stage, large screen and theatre style seating (this can be removed to allow for floor space and round tables), the Banquet Hall which is suitable for meetings or talks and features a long table in the centre of the room, and the Courtyard Cafe, which is suitable for smaller meetings. There is catering available on-site through the Courtyard Cafe.
