Australia’s iconic Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit in Bathurst has launched its first venue and function hire guide and booking platform for event organisers.

The spiritual home of motorsport, this spectacular venue is welcoming event planners to enjoy the stunning backdrops and unique multipurpose facility, ideal for small groups and weddings through to events for tens of thousands of people.

“Mount Panorama is a world-class, totally unique venue for events. We are so excited to roll out the racing carpet to more people in Bathurst, which is so close to Sydney, but feels a world away,” said the Mayor of Bathurst, Councillor Robert ‘Stumpy’ Taylor.

“Our in-house events team is well versed in hosting sporting and cultural events along with warm country hospitality.” added Mr Taylor.

Mount Panorama offers 27 corporate suites all racing track facing, 36 lockable garages with power, 270 powered campsites, 15,000 sqm of hardstand area and is home to the Boardwalk off track walking circuit with district views, and the National Motor Racing Museum, all of which can be utilised for events.

The Pit Complex 27 Racing Suites offer front-row rooms and event spaces which can be tailored to accommodate the specific size and needs of the group. Book the Winners Podium, Race Control, Drivers Briefing Room and even the Media Centre.

Events coming up at Mount Panorama include the highly anticipated Bathurst 12 Hour, Mercedes Benz National Rally, Scooterville Legacy Walk, a triathlon, NSW Apiarist’s Association annual conference and various fundraiser and sporting events.

Beyond trackside camping, Mount Panorama offers a variety of accommodation at four-star Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst, as well as a variety of boutique hotels and motels just five minutes’ drive away in town.

Bathurst is a 2.5-hour drive from Western Sydney Airport and a 3-hour drive from Sydney and Canberra with air and train links. As Australia’s oldest European inland settlement, Bathurst is steeped in history and offers a vibrant regional centre surrounded by spectacular natural wonders for adventure tourism.
