About Byron Theatre and Community Centre
Located in the heart of Byron Bay, within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, nightlife, accommodation & the beach, The Byron Theatre and Community Centre is the ideal North Coast venue for conferences & events. The Byron Theatre is part of the Community Centres' not-for-profit social enterprise model: This means any funds raised from events will go towards services and projects that benefit the community.
The Byron Theatre is the premier conference space in Byron, with superb acoustics, an intimate atmosphere and friendly staff. The Theatre is an amphitheatre-style auditorium with tiered seating for 266 people and has a cinema-size screen with state-of-the-art audio-visual and sound facilities.
On the first floor of the Centre, there are two well-appointed meeting rooms. Both spaces have superb conference facilities including sound & visual requirements, Wifi and air conditioning. The rooms are divided by a solid partition, which can be removed to create one large space if desired, and can be hired separately or together. The Centre is an outstanding contemporary venue, perfect for both small & large functions.
