Fitzroy Inn Historic Retreat

About Fitzroy Inn Historic Retreat

The Fitzroy Inn is one of the finest country inns in the scenic Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Only a little over an hour drive from Sydney or Canberra, this charming Victorian colonial building - with its wrap-around verandah,  opened as the Fitzroy Inn in 1836.  The estate is situated amongst the rolling hills of the Southern Highlands on an acreage dotted with century-old oaks overlooking Alexandra Mountain.

We offer unique meeting and conference spaces for small groups with lots of natural light, open fire places and numerous break out rooms - even a dungeon, including a personalized coordinator service to ensure your needs are met.  Our half and full day packages include AV equipment, wireless boradband and data projection units, plus food and beverages to suit your requirements.

We also offer eleven guest rooms in the historic Inn, including four cosy attic rooms overlooking the gardens, or one of four spacious bedrooms in the restored School Master's Cottage.
