About RedGround Truffle Hunting Lodge
RedGround is a working truffle farm located in the breath-taking high country of Oberon in The Blue Mountains. Only a short 2.5-hour drive from Sydney, RedGround offers farm stay accommodation and a new boutique Truffle Hunting Lodge.
The purpose-built Truffle Hunting Lodge caters for RedGround's Truffle Hunt, Touch and Taste experiences and is also available to hire for conferences, special events and gatherings. The cosy and warm lodge offers views over every aspect of the farm and is sure to provide an unforgettable experience.
At the heart of RedGround is the manicured truffiere featuring 722 inoculated truffle trees producing summer, winter and spring truffle varieties. As a result, RedGround will be the first truffiere in Australia to offer bookable truffle hunting experiences for most of the year. An exciting team building experience allowing guests to hunt for the elusive aromatic culinary delicacy with truffle hunting dogs. Guests will also learn how to grade truffles as well as how to pair truffle with ingredients to make delicious dishes and enjoy sweet and savoury truffle tastings.
